SelfSyncMe Download Privacy Terms Support

Your notes are files. Not our database.

SelfSyncMe is a notes and planning app built on ordinary Markdown files in your own iCloud Drive — readable by any editor, on any machine, long after you have stopped using this app.

What it does

Writes like a document Markdown renders as finished text, and shows its syntax only on the line you are editing.
Plans the day Day, week, month and year notes; a timeline that lays the day's lines out in time; tasks, habits and templates.
Knows your calendar Two-way sync with the calendars your device already has — iCloud, Google, Exchange — through Apple's own EventKit.
Listens when asked A live assistant that answers from notes you prepared, while the meeting is still happening. On the Mac app and the self-hosted web app.
Takes handwriting Apple Pencil notes on iPad, searchable by the text inside them.

What it does not do

There is no account, no sign-up and no server of ours between you and your notes. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier. If you configure an AI provider, it is your provider and your key — see the privacy policy, which is unusually short for a reason.

Where to get it

On the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and as a free download for macOS, signed and notarized.

What it costs

Nothing. No subscription, no trial, no account, nothing held back — on any of the three. If that ever changes it will be for features that do not exist yet; what is here now stays as it is.
